Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Thirty (30) days before arrival (inclusively) : you may cancel or change your reservation. A cancellation will result in a full refund of the reservation amount, less the service charge (7% + tx). For changes in reservations, if the new reservation rate is higher than the original reservation, you will be required to pay the remaining balance. Changes are subject to availability in the reservation calendar and cannot be guaranteed.

Between 29 and 15 days before arrival (inclusive) : Reservations cannot be cancelled; you may only make changes. Cancellation will result in the loss of 100% of the reservation amount, plus applicable taxes. Any change to a reservation will result in a $75 fee, plus applicable taxes. If the new reservation rate is higher than the original reservation, you will be required to pay the remaining balance. (However, no refunds are given if the new reservation rate is lower than the original reservation rate). Changes are subject to availability in the reservation calendar and cannot be guaranteed.

Fourteen (14) days or less before arrival (inclusive) : Reservations cannot be cancelled or changed. Cancellation will result in the loss of all (100%) of the reservation amount, plus applicable taxes.

How do I contact Eau Villa

You can contact our customer service at the email address info@eauvilla.com and by telephone at 514-613-4226, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. For any emergency, leave us a voice message, and we will call you back as soon as possible.

Please note that the Chambly marina staff is not part of Eau Villa’s customer service department, so you must contact us for any request. However, in the case of an emergency, the marina staff may naturally provide you with assistance.

Is there a minimum rental period?

High season, June 21 to September 14, minimum reservation of 2 nights.
Low season, June 1rst to June 20, September 15 to October 15, there is no minimum number of nights required, except for weekend reservations. For any reservation starting on a Friday or Saturday, you must select a minimum of 2 nights.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Accommodations are available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11 am on the day of departure.

What is the maximum accommodation capacity?

Our houses are designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 people (one additional baby is permitted). Each house has a bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed for two people in the living area. A surcharge of $10 per person is required for more than 2 people.

How does the rental proceed?

You will receive two emails when you complete your reservation. The first email will contain all the important information regarding your stay. The second email will provide instructions and the code to unlock the front door of your house.* Store them carefully!

Your arrival will be self check-in ; you can unlock the door of your house with the code provided.

If needed, you can contact our customer service by email or phone (Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). For any emergency, leave us a voice message, and we will call you back as soon as possible.

What payment methods are accepted?

We only accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard).

What equipment is provided in the accommodations?

Each of our houseboats includes a bedroom with queen size bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a living area and a small kitchenette. The exterior includes two terraces equipped with spa, sunshade and bean bags to enjoy the view comfortably. We also provide two paddle boards to explore the surroundings.

Can I choose my location?

The four houses are identical. You can choose based on availability when reserving, but this will not impact your stay.

Pre-authorization

A pre-authorization of $1000 will be automatically charged 24 hours before your arrival to the credit card you used when you reserved. This serves as a security deposit to cover any expenses or damages incurred during the rental period. The pre-authorization will be refunded within 72 hours after the end of the rental if you have complied with all the conditions of service use.

Are pets allowed?
You can bring a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation by selecting this option when making your reservation. No other animals are allowed at Eau Villa. A cleaning fee of $150 is required.

Do you accept unaccompanied minors?
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there a parking lot?
The rental of a houseboat includes parking for one vehicle at no charge. You must only use the designated Eau Villa guest parking spaces in the marina parking lot. You may park an additional vehicle for $15 per day.

How do I get to my mini-home?
Eau Villa Chambly is located in the heart of the Marina de Chambly, so you must go through the main access of the Marina to access your mini-home.

Am I authorized to smoke on the Eau Villa site, including the terraces?
All of our homes, including the terraces, are non-smoking to ensure the comfort and safety of all.

What rules must I comply with a Eau Villa?

    • Eau Villa is a place to relax by the water. So that everyone can enjoy their stay, we ask that you do not disturb the peace for other users. From sunset onwards, we ask that you do not make any noise or listen to music outside the houses. Fees may be charged for non-compliance with these rules.
    • You must use the paddle boards following the instructions provided in the guide located in your accommodation.
    • Children under age 8 must wear life jackets on the docks and outside the houses and remain under adult supervision.
    • You are not allowed to swim in the marina.
    • It is forbidden to use a BBQ, oven or stove in the floating homes and on the terrace.

What activities are there on site?
Each accommodation comes with two paddleboards and the necessary safety equipment available to the client for the duration of their stay.

Do you have a restaurant on site?

We do not have a restaurant, but we have a small kitchen area with a mini-oven and a coffee maker for breakfast at sunrise !

However, be aware that there are several excellent restaurants in the vicinity of the marina. Check out our suggestions right here to discover them.

Is the water safe to drink?

The water is not drinkable. We provide bottled water, but we advise you to bring your own supply.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Our mini house in Sutton is divided into 2 independent dwellings sharing the same dock. Each house is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 people (an additional baby is allowed). Each house has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom. It is possible to reserve the entire mini-home to enjoy with friends or family if both homes are available.

How does the rental process work?

You will receive an email containing all the important information related to your stay after your reservation. Keep them carefully!

  • Your arrival will be autonomous, you will be able to unlock the door of your house with the key contained in the code lock, located next to the door. The code will be given to you before your stay by email.
  • To unlock the key box, enter the unique 4-digit code (see your code at the beginning of the email). For security purposes, please mix up the numbers after closing the box.
  • When you are away, make sure you lock the door to your home behind you.
  • When you leave, be sure to lock the door, return the key to the key box (using your unique 4-digit code) and shuffle the numbers after closing the box. A $250 fee will be charged to your credit card if you forget to return the key.

Is there a parking lot?

Parking for one vehicle is included at no charge with the rental of a floating home. You are required to use only the designated parking spaces for Eau Villa guests.

How do I get to my mini-home?

Our mini-home is located on a private property. Please follow the instructions received by email and the signs once you arrive on site.

Am I allowed to smoke on the Eau Villa site including the decks?
No. All of our homes are non-smoking, including the decks, to ensure the comfort and safety of all.

Am I allowed to swim in the pond?
Yes, you can swim in the pond where your home is located. Just make sure you follow the safety rules if you’re with children.

Am I allowed to fish in the pond?
No, we ask you to respect the local wildlife and not to fish on site.
